Like Training For A Marathon.

I am participating in the Post A Day 2011 Challenge presented by WordPress. This challenge is self describable- the goal is to post something on my blog at least once a day for the entire year. This idea scares me and leads my mind to weekends and holidays when I don’t normally post. I am going to train for this challenge as if it were the New York City Marathon. First I will evaluate my ability by staying awake for 48 hours of straight blogging. I will wake up early each day following to perform finger stretches that will surely increase my blog typing speed by 45%.

I will eat more carbohydrates for energy. I will ask supporters to make me encouraging posters. I will make a Facebook group to raise money to sponsor myself. [It helps because I need some money to go towards my new Nikon D3000 camera that I received in the mail yesterday.]

I took this picture with the camera while walking 30 blocks to work. It is of a little something I like to call the Empire State Building and a tree that looks like a bunch of twigs glued together.

I also took a 700 picture photoshoot of my Dunkin Donuts iced coffee. Here is it’s best shot, as Tyra says in “America’s Next Top Model”. I think the dirty truck behind it really makes the cups’ colors pop. Like, “oh look, a dirty truck BAM a cup of DD coffee”.

I listened to The Adventure by Angels and Airwaves on my walk. I feel disheveled when I walk- but that works for me. I think life is crazy.

I had a good New Years Resolution, but I can’t remember what it was. One resolution was to take a daily woman’s vitamin every day, hence using the word “daily”. That’s a pretty riveting one. Do you have any good New Years Resolutions?

  1. FYI WordPress lets you post into the future. Like, years into the future. haha (Helpful for holy-days and other busy-days.)

  2. My resolution is to establish myself as a regular at a diner. Specifically one near Lincoln Center.

I have started to mail them photos of me and a letter of intent.
