SNOWWWWWWWW.

I like to have my dog lay with my jeans so if I get kidnapped she can track my scent. She is very protective of me.

My sister and I went to my grandma’s house for Boxing Day Breakfast and returned home today, 48 hours later due to the snow storm. I concluded we would be snowed in for a night at most, but not two nights! I wasn’t prepared and did not have a tooth brush or snow boots or my insulin. I’m just kidding, I don’t need to take insulin, just wanted to make things sound more dramatic.

My sister, aunt and I ventured outside on the night of the storm for a late night walk.

Due to the fact the roads were still bad, we could not drive our car home and decided to walk down the hill to take the bus.

There are usually cars speeding down this street. But today, only my sister was.

We looked out over a nice view of the island.

Then waited for the bus for ten minutes. Then the bus came.

and we made it home where we were greeted by these long icicles the size of a four year old child, respectively. I removed the biggest icicle from the roof and put it in my freezer to save it because I hear they have magical healing powers.

It is good to be home. It was nice to be away. Goodbye.

  1. AWESOME icicles. We’ve got a few of those here, too. Hope you’re enjoying the snow as much as you can! Sounds like a travel nightmare, but also very pretty.
