It is Memorial Day Weekend 2011. A popular abbreviation for Memorial Day Weekend is MDW. Many people go Down the Shore for Memorial Day Weekend. To convey this event, people set “DTS for MDW” as their Facebook status. I went to Central Park in New York City for Day 2 of MDW. Therefore, my Facebook status should read, “CPINYC for MDW”.
