p14x

I ordered the p90x. It arrived in the mail today.

The p90x is an intense 90 day home workout plan developed by Tony Horton.

I don’t know Tony Horton. I assume he is a physically fit man between the ages of 26-38**.

If you follow the p90x dvd set one hour a day for 90 days, you are guaranteed to get in great shape.

Along with the dvds it was required to order resistance bands and a chin up bar. Those came in the mail today too.

Currently, I am able to do one chin up but only if I give myself a jump start and scream as I do it.

I plan to wake up an hour early every morning to do the workout.

On a normal work day, I wake up at 7:45am. I head to work by 8:30. When I start the p90x, I will have to wake up at 6:45am.

I don’t have hope in myself that I will last the program’s 90 days. I don’t like waking up earlier than I have to.

Last year I tried to unblock my creativity with “The Morning Pages”. With that program, you wake up a half hour early every and write 3 pages in a notebook. You do this for a year. You can write about anything. This gets your artistic juices flowing and will help you flourish in creative areas in your life.

The morning writing went well for a week and a half until I got lazy. I didn’t want to lose the half hour of sleep. I stopped writing. This is when I realized I would be a horrible Navy Seal.

I am starting the 90 day workout program Monday April 17th. It will allegedly last until July 12th.

I am not starting right away because I have a week vacation planned between now and April 17th. I read it is not recommended to start the workout with a vacation planned.

I will let you know how it goes.

Hopefully the workout plan will not turn into a p14x, meaning I would only last two weeks.

**After research, I concluded Tony Horton is 54 years old. I was mistaken.

If he can do it, I can do it.
