In three words I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life…I Love Cheese

Sometimes I feel like I reasearch “ways to improve my life” more than I execute the tips I read to actually improve my life. I like to look up “self-help” tools and think, “I should do that” or “I’m going to do that”, but then I don’t do it. For example, I found a quote that says, “Do one thing every day that scares you.”

The first week went very well:

Monday: Answered an “anonymous” phone call…yikes!
Tuesday: Repetitively said ” Bloody Mary” in my bathroom mirror
Wednesday: Slept in an alleyway in NYC with a wad of cash
Thursday: Held a raisin [ewwww they’re so gross]
Friday: Paid my friend Jenny to follow me the whole day, jumping out of garbage cans dressed as PeeWee Herman. Got me every time.
Saturday: Made eye contact with a Quija board…eek!
Sunday: Confronted a spider

But come the next week, I did nothing to scare me every day. My life once again, became boring.

Well, today is the day to change things. I am going to look up a self help tip and actually do it for a prolonged period of time.

In my search, I came across these quotes:

Life is what happens to you
While you’re busy making other plans. –John Lennon
Like one time, I was on the phone with my bffl Kristen and we were making plans to get sushi and I saw a bird land on a beggar-woman’s hand/finger. Life was totally happening to me while I was busy making other plans.

Nothing in life is to be feared. It is only to be understood. –Marie Curie
Marie Curie should talk to the person who made up the quote, “Do one thing every day that scares you”. They’ve got some things to work out.

I figured something out. The future is unpredictable. -John Green
I find this extremely biased against psychics.

The tip that I am going to do everyday is “Do something to work towards your goal”. I just made that up. What is my goal? I find myself asking myself.
